BRIDGES OF CARE DRIVE
October 24 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Bridges of Care Drive: Youth Mental Health and Resilience Initiative is a targeted community awareness and engagement event led by 1626 Life Skillz Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina. The initiative is designed to strengthen youth mental health awareness, build resilience, and improve access to supportive services through education, mentorship, and life skills programming. It responds to persistent gaps in mental health awareness, stigma, and limited knowledge of available community resources among vulnerable youth and families experiencing economic hardship and instability.
The event will directly engage approximately 60 participants through a structured awareness forum that combines mental health education, guided discussions, and resource navigation. Participants will receive practical information on emotional wellness, stress management, and coping strategies, alongside clear pathways to local mental health and community support services. The event is designed to increase help-seeking behavior, reduce stigma around mental health, and strengthen participants’ understanding of available care and support systems.
